I'm a tentative poet. I know I'm not very good, but at the same time I'm pleased with what I come up

with. I'd love to share my poetry with people and get feedback, but I'm WAY more protective of my written stuff than I am of my art. Would you guys be interesting in seeing some of it here, or should I just keep it to my friends-only LJ account?

Hey, all. Sorry for the lack of activity on the internet lately, especially to my VI buddies: I hope the Revolution hasn't come to a standstill without me.

Well, here's the story; three weeks ago, on Friday, I left for a family reunion. Had a great time, got back Monday afternoon, and immediatly packed for camp, which started on Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. I hadn't been on the computer for awhile before all this happened, so I didn't get the chance to put my VI account into vacation mode or leave a journal here explaining my absence. I got back from camp on Saturday around noon, and I just relaxed for the rest of the weekend.

This week, I had an amazing time hanging out with friends and family on Monday and Tuesday, and Wednesday morning I started a summer school class, Mythology. I really wanted to take it my senior year, but It conflicted with too many other things on my schedule, so I decided to take it over the summer. It's an amazing class, :defvlilla-star: is attending it with me and we're having a blast. after school I've been pretty busy with friends, family stuff, homework and chores, so I haven't had much time for the internet.

Last night (Thursday) I came down with a stomach flu and didn't fall asleep until around 2 a.m., but even then my sleep was restless and I kept jerking awake because I was afraid I was about to throw up, which thankfully I never did. I finally fell into a deep sleep around 6 a.m., so I missed school. I slept like a rock all day and woke up at around 5:30, so I figured I'd catch up on my computer time.

In the weeks before the family reunion I got a lot of art done, but my stupid scanner takes three minutes to scan one picture, so I haven't scanned any of my stuff yet.

To my VI buddies: I'm going to be deleting my character and creating a new one for various reasons that I will not write here. It'll probably take a few days to do this, a week at the most, but I'll be back on the VI as soon as possible!

So, yeah. Most everything I typed in came up with results for Hannah Montana. I'm really starting to get annoyed with Disney for ruining my name. >:C

And yes, I do in fact find it slightly ironic that I complain about the con being a waste of time and then proceed to waste my time doing a meme. It's finals week, I'm allowed to do this.
